The Citrus Business Management Programme (CBM) was held at the Mpofu Training Centre in Fort Beaufort, in the Eastern Cape, over an intensive seven month period beginning mid-September last year.
The programme covered a total of ten modules, culminating with eight learners delivering their final presentations last week to a panel of industry growers from Katriver Citrus Growers, officials from the Department of Rural Development and Agrarian Reform, and the General Manager of the Citrus Academy, Jacomien De Klerk. The final presentations formed part of the learners Final Integrated Summative Assessments.
Aimed at assisting learners in identifying the critical points in managing various aspects of running a citrus enterprise, the CBM programme was facilitated with the assistance of our Programme Coordinator, Samuel Louw.
Congratulations to all of the learners who completed the programme.
